The Linda’s Legacy Foundation
is a non-profit organization established to raise funds for use in elevating lung cancer awareness, particularly among women,
as well as educate about its devastating and often fatal effects. More women die of lung cancer each year than of breast,
cervical and ovarian cancer combined. The
Foundation will also raise funds to support research for development of a reliable early detection method; better treatments;
and assist victims of lung cancer and their families with special needs. All funds raised by the Foundation will stay in northeast
Florida to directly benefit those in our area needing assistance. Most funds for the Foundation are generated through the annual Linda’s Legacy Tennis Tournament,
a women’s doubles four-day tennis tournament and celebrity pro-am, held in memory of Linda Paul-Skeeles who lost her
battle with lung cancer in 2005. VISIT SITE

Sharon Svihel (aka Momma Chol) felt a strong calling to help refugees in 1997 when the Svihels invited
Chol Ajang into their family. Relocating to America, Chol was a Lost Boy from Sudan - the name given to more than 27,000 boys
who were displaced and/or orphaned during the Second Sudanese Civil War. Through this experience, God guided Sharon to become
actively involved in Sudanese resettlement - helping Chol provide assistance to the Lost Boys arriving to Jacksonville in
2001. VISIT SITE

Anglers for a Cure, Inc. is truly a collaborative effort, succeeding in its mission through the tireless
energies of dozens of volunteers, tournament participants, sponsors and donors throughout the year. It is our hope that avid
fishermen throughout the U.S. will be inspired to create similar fundraising tournaments in support of the National Colorectal
Cancer Research Alliance, exponentially reproducing the efforts begun here in northeast Florida by two young men with big
hearts and a shared commitment to make a difference in the lives of others. VISIT SITE
